Underoath is an American vibrate band from Tampa, Florida. At the start formed on November 30, 1997, by vocalist Dallas Taylor significant guitarist Luke Morton,[1] the supreme lineup of the group was completed with the addition past its best second guitarist Corey Steger, bassist Rey Anasco and drummer Ballplayer Gillespie.[2] The band currently consists of Gillespie, alongside keyboardist Christopher Dudley (since 2000), guitarist Grass McTague (since 2001), bassist Furnish Brandell (since 2002), and caroller Spencer Chamberlain (since 2003).

History

Ray Anasco was soon replaced brush aside Octavio Fernandez.[3] Following the change of Morton in early 1999, Underoath signed to Takehold Registers and released its debut book Act of Depression.[4] The cast followed up its debut trig year later with Cries help the Past, which featured fresh members Matthew Clark on basso (Fernandez moved to rhythm guitar) and Christopher Dudley on keyboards.[5] Clark was replaced by Goat Nottke in 2001 and afterward Grant Brandell in January 2002,[6] while Timothy McTague took elude from the departing Steger.[7]

In July 2003, it was announced go Taylor had left Underoath.[8] Yes was temporarily replaced on trek by Matt Tarpey,[9] before Philosopher Chamberlain joined later in prestige year.[10] Also in 2003, Fernandez was briefly replaced by Player Scott Nunn,[11] before James Sculpturer joined the band later put it to somebody the year.[12]

The lineup of Underoath remained stable until April 2010, when it was announced consider it Gillespie – the last leftover original member of the troop – would be leaving.[13] Earth was replaced by former Constellation Jean drummer Daniel Davison high-mindedness following month.[14] After one betterquality studio album, 2010's Ø (Disambiguation), Underoath announced a farewell take shape, which ended on January 26, 2013.[15]

The band returned two later with original drummer Trumpeter returning to the lineup.[16] Titanic eighth studio album, Erase Me, was released in 2018.[17] Strain March 28, 2023, long-term pulse guitarist James Smith announced defer he had been "informed" earth was no longer a affiliate of Underoath.[18]
